Friends of the Chalk Farm Library
This volunteer organization exists to support, protect and promote a beloved London neighborhood library -- the local library for Sylvia Plath and her children in the last weeks of her life. The generous people at the Chalk Farm library were instrumental in the research for Wintering and hosted the most moving, thrilling event in Kate's writing life when Wintering "premiered" there in February 2003. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and tell them Kate sent you.
